Yes. Move between Scaleup and In-house from Settings when your volume or workflows change. Law firm licences change through your account contact.
Per company. A law firm's clients, a group's subsidiaries, and a platform's merchants each count as one company, with its own documents and its own separation, and each is licensed separately. A platform fee covers what only your organisation gets: a cross-company dashboard and named support. Commit to a minimum number of companies for the year and the per-company rate drops. We quote it after scoping and do not publish it.
Each webhook Lawcel accepts counts once toward your monthly limit. Typical sources are GitHub PR activity, Linear or Jira issues, or analyses you trigger via the API when those tools are connected.
Lawcel processes code diffs and ticket descriptions needed for analysis only. Data is encrypted in transit and hosted on servers in Germany.
GDPR, AI Act, NIS2, and general contractual obligations. Coverage expands with your legal profile.
You get a heads-up in the app and by email as you approach your monthly analysis limit. Past it, Lawcel keeps receiving your changes and screens each one for compliance relevance, but full analysis pauses until your usage resets at the start of the next month or you upgrade. Nothing is deleted, your published pages stay live, and other limits simply stop you from adding more until you free up room or upgrade.
