Platform · Embed

Embed published legal documents on any site or builder.

Your marketing site should show the same Terms and Privacy Policy legal publishes in Lawcel - without manual copy-paste every time something changes.

What embed provides

Drop-in snippet

Two lines: load embed.js and add a lawcel-document element with your org slug and document slug. Published content renders automatically.

Builder instructions

The dashboard embed page includes guidance for Webflow, WordPress, Framer, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, and other common platforms.

Stays in sync after publish

Embeds load the currently published version from Lawcel. When legal publishes an update, embedded pages pick up the new version without redeploying your site HTML.

Complements hosted pages

Use Lawcel-hosted /legal URLs for direct links and embeds when you want legal text inside your existing site chrome and navigation.

Framework examples

Snippets include Next.js Script tag variants alongside vanilla HTML for teams on React-based marketing stacks.

Org and document slugs

Embed attributes mirror public URL structure - easy to verify you are pointing at the correct published document.

Setup

Publish once, embed everywhere

Legal finalizes and publishes a document in Lawcel. Marketing copies the embed snippet from the document embed page into the site footer, signup flow, or dedicated legal section.

When terms change, legal publishes a new version in Lawcel. Embeds update without editing HTML on every platform.

Publish the document

Ensure the document is published with stable org and document slugs before embedding.

Copy the snippet

Open the embed page from document settings. Copy the main snippet or a platform-specific variant.

Paste and verify

Add to your site builder HTML embed block. Load the page and confirm the rendered text matches the published version.
