Version 4.4 · Effective 17 August 2026
Also published at app.lawcel.com, the canonical hosted version.
1. Introduction
This Policy explains how Aslak Media ApS (CVR DK44604957), trading as Lawcel (Vesterbrogade 52a, 3250 Gilleleje, Denmark), uses cookies on lawcel.com and app.lawcel.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy and addresses our obligations under the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Denmark, the UK PECR, and the GDPR.
Cookies are small text files that let a site recognise your device across pages or visits. This Policy also covers equivalent technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels, beacons) where we use them.

Analytics and marketing
After you grant analytics consent on the marketing site, we set the following Google Analytics cookies. We do not set any marketing or advertising cookies.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | google-analytics.com | Distinguishes visitors for aggregated traffic measurement on the marketing site; set only after an analytics consent grant | 2 years |
_ga_<container> | google-analytics.com | Persists GA4 session state for aggregated traffic measurement on the marketing site; set only after an analytics consent grant | 2 years |
If we add further analytics, marketing, or advertising cookies, we will update this Policy and ask for renewed consent before they are set.
4. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because they are required to deliver the Service you have requested. For non-essential cookies (currently the Google Analytics cookies on the marketing site), we request consent via a banner with Accept all, Reject all non-essential, and Manage preferences options, with a separate toggle for the analytics category. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics consent loads no analytics tag, sends no data to Google, and drops the analytics cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the lawcel.com footer. Note that this link is available on the lawcel.com landing page only and is not currently accessible from within the authenticated application at app.lawcel.com. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
We do not pre-tick consent boxes and do not condition access on accepting non-essential cookies. Your consent choice is logged so we can demonstrate compliance with Article 7(1) GDPR.
6. Changes
We may update this Policy when we add new cookies, change providers, or receive new regulatory guidance. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will trigger a renewed consent request.
